New WordPress themes page

I just added a page for WordPress themes I make, so far I’ve got No Probs and Greenery. I’m currently working on Leaves and my own X Blog (with some cool new additions and features).

Hi. I was impressed by the greenery design by Pat and he gave me the zip file for the WP theme that you translated. Thanks a lot.

I have a problem though. The Extended Live Archives doesn’t seem to work and the Flickr Photos page is not displaying right. Can you check it out and tell me what I should do? Thanks.

It’s me again. Can you tweak the K2 theme so that it will look like the greenery theme?

  5. LobsterMan | January 27, 2006,

can you email me exactly which plugins don’t work properly in the greenery theme?
I haven’t checked out K2 myself, but it looks like a super fancy feature rich theme, which of it’s features did you like?

i really adore this theme! it’s finally here for wordpress, thank you! i’m trying it out and do actually have a few issues with it…

    1) no support for sub-pages:
in my blog, i have “about” as a main-page to two other pages, ie:

    About
    > colophon
    > contact

using your ported theme, “colophon” and “contact” are not showing up. Since user can’t have over 4 pages, as this will break the theme at the header, this is a major issue. Pls give us sub-pages support….

    2) No Meta section at sidebar

    3) Comments for Pages not showing up…

In my blog, i have a page “Guestbook” where i enabled commenting. But the comments ain;t showing up for this theme. Pls click here to see what i mean.

If you can fix the above issues, this would be my theme for a very long time to come! Cheers!

    To elaborate on point (1):

for Pages, could you consider removing “categories”, “archives”, and “links”, basically, free up the sidebar and focus on displaying either Sub-pages or comments (if enabled)…

    i got a few more suggestions/bug reports:

    4) for the “search-box”, you have the “autoclear” function built-in. Could you do the same for the comment’s “name”, “email” and “url” boxes…?

    5) in IE 6.0, there is this problem

haha, i know i’m quite a pain-in-the-hard-to-reach, but you will have eternal gratitude…cheers!

  8. Gio | February 26, 2006,

    6) for commenting, a user with a very long name can break the design: in IE 6.0 and FF 1.5.0.1

  9. Gio | February 26, 2006,

    7) theme does not validate xhtml 1.1 , 4 errors, mainly due to sidebar.php if i’m not wrong. look here.

  10. LobsterMan | February 26, 2006,

Thanks for your input, I’ll look into the bugs.
as for the pages, it is set to show only top level pages, but you can change that, as for comments on pages, it’s also doable, email me if you want help.

I do need help. For “show only top level pages” and “comments on pages”, Which php(s) and which line(s) do i need to edit from the theme? Many thanks for your help.

Regarding: Leaves. I love it. How do I invoke the code (found in comments.php) that gives every other comment a different bkg color? Need to add something to the CSS?
