Blogging from the air.

Gues what, I’m on a Lufthansa flight from Tel Aviv to Frankfurt, and they have broadband WiFi access in the plane! I even got a free 30 minute access card. This might be one of the first blog posts posted from the air. ;)

Edit: I’m now listening to Pandora online radio, 20,000 feet in the air!

That’s really cool! If you have a digital camera handy, you should also take some photos from the plane and of your laptop. That would be neat to see.

Sounds cool! What was your connection speed?

  4. LobsterMan | August 7, 2006,

LOL I didn’t clock the speed, but it was pretty decent if it could stream live music.

Nice! I read about Lufthansa wifi a year or two ago, can’t wait to hop on one of those!

I see you’ve worked out your new macpro.ws site. Are you interested in leopardmac.com? Send me a holler to ebaydomainusa@gmail.com.

    Thanks.

macpro.ws isn’t mine, though it uses a free WordPress theme I designed. I *might* be interested, if the price is reasonable

I really like your blog. I’ve bookmarked it as a favorite.

WOW!!! a smart spammer. Instead of adding comments full of links, that always get caught, he wrote a simple comment, with only one link, as his url.
Part of me respects that, so i’ll leave this one, though i’ll delete the rest…

[...] For the weekend, I am off at a KOA campground with my family. Fortunately, this particular campground has a free wireless connection that is advertised as Wi-Fi. I have gotten speeds up to 3mbps. I do have another post I am preparing, but I thought I would take advantage of this uncommon oppurtunity, simply to say that I have done it. It still isn’t as great as blogging in the air of course. [...]
