WP Photo Album has been updated to version 1.5
This update includes:
- Fixes some issues with WordPress 2.6 and the database structure.
- The WPPA administration now has a top level menu of it’s own.
- Users can now set the access level for accessing the WPPA administration

Important:
If you are upgrading from an earlier version of WPPA and it says “No Albums Yet” after you upgrade, you will need to access your WordPress database with an administration tool such as PHPMyAdmin and change the tables ‘wppa_albums’ and ‘wppa_photos’ to ‘wp_wppa_albums’ and ‘wp_wppa_photos’. This is assuming your table prefix is ‘wp_’ if it is something else,then replace ‘wp_’ with your table prefix.

I’m using a fresh install of the version that came out today (for WP 2.6.2) and when I go to create an album, it says “Album Added.” up top, but also “no albums exist” underneath. And when I go to add photos, it says no albums are created. My wp-content/uploads folder is 755.
What am I not doing right?

Many thanks to you for your wordpress album plugin! I love it!
However, I come across a problem. I am a Chinese and I need to add some Chinese description. And when I added, the Chinese that I wrote come out to be unrecognizable code.
I will like it better if you make it support Chinese(or UTF-8)

Hello,
I like your plug-in. Easy to configure. I do have one question? Is there a way to only dispaly one photo album on a page and not display all albums you have created?
This would be a good feature to add if possible.

This plugin is great for our website! A couple quick questions, with quick answers i hope!
- I see “order” as an option to change in the Manage Album section. It’s default is set to ‘0′. Is there a way to change this and reorder the photos to appear newest to oldest?
- Is there a way to leave a comment under each photo, rather than the whole album?

It would be definitely an useful feature, maybe add a parameter to wwpa_albums($name) and maybe I could to id myself lol

What about a new version where you can change the order of the albums itself?
At this moment you can only change the order of the photo’s inside the album.

When I upload my photos a fatal error occurs, what does mean?
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 13056 bytes) in /web/htdocs/www.motociclisti.net/home/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/wp-photo-album/wppa.php on line 735

I like it… but I have a lot of images… after a while my pic’s stopped uploading or right… Some where blank other just did not show up at all. What should I do? Delete and reinstall? or is there an other way to fix it?
